Sensible theism anyone?

Has anyone considered the possibility that a God actually may have created this universe, and this world in particular just to see what happens when you let a bunch of mini-gods breed? And that He (please excuse the capital H) either doesn't interact with us, or does so minimally just to keep us from boring Him or self-destructing? I find that much more likely than the idea that He dictated the Bible (Koran, whatever), or that minds evolved from dirt.

Of course He would have to be one evil Bastard unless there's an afterlife in which every sonofabitch gets exactly what he deserves. I find that morally justifiable, whereas the idea that some guys get eternal happiness and others get eternal torment apperars morally unjustifiable. It's even less justifiable if rewards and punishments are based on what you believe, as opposed to what you do.

And seriously folks, it's either justice or nihilism. If the best thieves get the best deal and that's the end of it, then whatever created this shit is worthy of every curse we can throw at it.

Where's a moderated religion group?

Does anybody know where there's a moderated discussion group on religion & religious terrorism? The non-moderated groups are dominated by haters who just want to cuss each other out.

My First Blog

This is my first blog ever! I have no idea what to expect, but here's what I want:
I want to talk to truth seekers. Not just any random truth - truth about ultimate reality - the kind where you admit that you don't know if a God exists, but you'd like to. And you don't just want to talk to any young smiley-faced evangellical turkey, but somebody who is philosophically savvy enough to know what epistemology means. So... anybody out there?
